Story behind the song
Hunting was a big sport in my part of the country, and this song tells the story of growing up in that culture. It started with hunting games with toy guns, and grew into killing for sport and fun. Now they play the game in the streets, in our schools, and in our workplaces with real guns, real bullets, and real people being killed.
