rock, 70's and 80's style mostly, along with jazz, surf, and synth-based 'new age' or 'smooth jazz' music. But it's mostly rock.
It's just me, playing my axe and doing vocals and using the computer for MIDI and recording. Honestly. And I sometimes do fun things with my computer to improve it. But I don't 'cheat' like using 'Auto Tune' or anything like that. My older stuff was done 'the hard way' - adding one track at a time until it was 'good enough' and hope that the end mix came out ok. For the most part it did. Eventually I bought 'Cakewalk Music Creator 3' and started experimenting around with it it to get better results., so songs posted since 2010 are using THIS method. Experimenting with theory and style is something I'm into, so expect a lot of different styles here. My preference is Rock with a Jazz influence.

Story behind the song
The worst part about summer is its ending, and the last sunset in summer is just something that I don't really look forward to, but it means something, in a way. And in San Diego, over the cliffs at the beach, a sunset in September looks pretty cool. And I wanted to do a 'smooth jazz' song, so I did this one. Influence by Cusco, mostly, and another group from the 80's I can't remember the name of at the moment. Re-mix 6/17/2011, added analog keyboards and did some MIDI re-arrangements. Recorded each MIDI track separately, did final mixdown in Cakewalk, and final encoding and cleanup with 'the usual tools'.
