Chris is the principle songwriter for the band. Rhythm guitar, lead guitar, vocals, keyboards. Add to this mix Al English Jr., Sheila Zachary, and Mark Lucchessi is the bassist for the group. Story behind the song
Wrote this song years ago during a sermon by our pastor concerning Abraham and Isaac, the 'Son of Promise'. All proceeds from the digital sales of this song go to the Network of International Christian Schools. THis organization has planted over 20 schools in nearly as many countries, Countries such as Korea, Brazil, Afghanistan and China.

Verse 1: Abraham leaned upon his staff and listened to the wind And watched as God's promise was fulfilled. And as he saw that baby boy His eyes were filled with tears of joy. He knew that God was faithful to His Word. Chorus: For this was the Child of Promise The One that God had sworn Thru this Child of Promise A mighty nation would be born A nation far too great to number As the sand beside the sea. And the Lord God keeps His promises Through all eternity. Verse 2: God told Abraham to take His son into the hills And sacrifice his life there to his Lord. And Abraham was willing To honor God's command. He knew somehow his son would live again! Chorus: Verse 3: Joseph held a swaddling cloth And knelt down in the hay And watched as God's promise was fulfilled. He knew the child would be a king The one the prophet said would bring Redemption to a world That hated Him.
