This piece is a reflection on my composing career wich began in late 2000. It is a tribute to one of my earliest influences, Nobuo Uematsu (a video game composer). The title “In Suspension” refers to the suspended state I become in when I compose.
I am a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in music composition. This goes without saying but I love music (listening, composing, studying, performing).

Story behind the song
This piece was composed for the premiere concerts of a new music group I'm in called "The Pacific Composers Project." We're a diverse group of student composers based in Hawaii. Basically I had two months to compose this and get it prepared to play. I spent countless nights trying to perfect this piece, and I'm pleased with the result. It was performed three times, but right now I only have my original GPO recording.
