Tempo Canon (10:11:13) in 15-equal, roughly based on Dan Stearns' 'of fire of ice of blood' motif.

Eclectic microtonal/xenharmonic 21st-century
The time has come to say no to twelve tone equal. Ask Ivor Darreg. He knows. This project is, among other things, an argument for the further exploration of microtonal/xenharmonic tunings by more musicians. If you find this argument compelling or completely repulsive, please let me know. This project is also a response to the recognized need for more examples available on the internet, for the curious. The curious will never hope to get anywhere without trying out their ears.

Story behind the song
Favorite moment: the convergence point. Least favorite moment: everything after that. Two of the voices do simple convergence panning changes. The third is more mercurial. As tempo canons go, this is a beginners first, er, second poke (almost forgot about the 21-part one-note panpipe tempo canon from last year! what an abortion!) and I find that the tessitura is too uniformly high, the voices entering mere fourths below one another. It this lacks an "orchestral" quality Nancarrow is so good at. There is also the matter that the material was improvised in a quasi-rhythmic fashion which subverts clear perception of the polyrhythms; however, its sectional nature works in imitation quite nicely.
