Light and playful, turning dark then returning to childlike playfulness.
classical composer band symphonic wind ensemble
I have been writing and doing arrangements for about 15 years (never seriously until I decided to go back to school and persue this "hobby" in 1997) Since 1997 I have written several pieces some for piano, some for wind ensemble, and some for orchestra. I am very comfortable doing wind ensemble arrengements of pop music for high school bands (marching/pep primarily). Virtually all the plays I shall post are computer playback (thus some instruments may sound "non-characteristic."

Story behind the song
We join a child of age 5 at play, we watch as the child begins to grow into an young adult, the themes take on a sarcastic and bitter feel as this child begins th realize the world isnt quiet as nice as he thought it was. Then as we return to the main theme we envision the birth of a child (the next generation).
