I was watching ESPN after work one evening, and when supper was ready, I left the TV on when I went into the kitchen. Minutes later, I heard a laugh track coming from the other room. Since I didn't know of any ESPN shows with a laugh track, I went back in the living room to check. The TV was now tuned to "Married. . .With Children," and my cat was sitting on the couch. Now, I understand how a cat can operate a remote, but what was sweet little Lizzie doing watching that show?

Story behind the song
Icepac was at one of the worst points in his life. Deep in debt from the Australian (mis)adventure, and demoralized about his prospects in music, he had given up on life. Kind friends allowed him to stay in their vacation home, but he found himself unable to regain his place in the world. He spent his days drinking beer and watching YouTube. The only thing that broke the monotony was when the Overdue Book Police came from the local library. They would burst into his house, tie him to a chair, and force him to listen to the books-on-tape version of Nancy Pearl’s ‘Book Lust’ (read by Pauly Shore) at ear-splitting volumes. At last Icepac could take this no more, and he snuck off in the middle of the night. He decided that he was going to camp out on the land, and try to get his soul free. He drove all night, and in the morning he found himself in Entwistle, Alberta. He did not know how he got into Canada; he didn’t know how he evaded homeland security at the border. All he knew was that he had a chance at a new beginning. He entered the Journeyman Restaurant and had a slice of Cherry Pie and a damn fine cup of coffee. The sense of anticipation and possibility he had been filled with seemed to reach sudden fruition when he stepped out the door after his repast, and to his absolute amazement, he saw a five-legged man ride past on a seven-wheeled bicycle! He was astonished by the intricate interlocking cycles of the pumping legs, and spinning petals and wheels. Icepac was astonished by the sight, and his lightening mind recalled an article he’d read in the Weekly World News about the time Ashley B, the woman with four legs, broke all her legs in a freak accident. Scientists have learned that four legged people are much more likely to have broken legs than people with three or five legs, so Icepac shouted out, ‘Don’t worry, buddy, you’re doing fine!’ The quintupedal cyclist was so startled that he toppled over, and ironically, broke a couple of legs! Icepac didn’t even notice, so lost was he in thought… how could he represent the rhythmic patterns he’d observed in music? His excitement, growing, he began tapping out the rhythm on his knees. The muse presented a melody to him. Ecstatic now, he booked time in a local studio, and recorded his idea. He forwarded the results by e-mail to Sknoblogger for completion. By an amazing coincidence, Sknoblogger has also recently seen a five-legged man on a seven-wheeled bicycle himself, so he knew exactly what it took to finish the song. So now, for the first time ever, we present “57.”
