Story behind the song
The music for this tune dates back to the early 1970's; several not quite right lyric attempts were co-opted by the lyric for "Bernhard Goetz Some" in the 1980's. I've always been fond of the off-meter bridge, so I've updated the lyric with some help from my sister on the chorus. The hope is to entice someone who can really sing to help out on the vocal in live performance.
