Instrumental compositions featuring intricate layering of instruments, principally guitars.
I’ve been writing and recording music since the early 1980s, shortly after the first multitrack cassette recorders were introduced. To date, the only people I could get to listen to my music were my more tolerant friends and family members. I thought that by posting my work online, I might find a handful of people who can get something out of it.

Story behind the song
In many of my compositions, I introduce the instruments one by one to slowing build the energy and density of the piece. In this case, I tried to write a piece where this happened over and over again, building up and then dropping off every 30 seconds or so. I tried a number of things for the melody, but it finally came together when I broke out my E-Bow and a cheap pawn shop guitar that I de-fretted several years ago to make a fretless guitar.
