This is more along the lines of melodic rock and AOR, even hair metal. I wrote this when I was into Whitesnake big time!

I've tried to portray emotions through music and I've tried very hard not to restrict myself to any one Genre or feel. I believe that one should challenge thems
I'm a doctor, music is my very expensive hobby.

Story behind the song
Wrote this song like 4 years ago and since one forgets how the melody and chord work goes I made the smart call of writing down the chord progression on the same scrap as I wrote the lyrics (never got to maintaining a diary). This promised to be a challenge as far as the recording process went. The studio equipment was on the fritz and I had to re-record this 3 times! But I guess that turned out well coz the song evolved with every new incarnation and I was pleased with the way that it sounded finally.
Lyrics
I remember the time, Not so long ago, You and I wre one, But Time passes by, And the Seasons they change, but sometimes things go wrong, You take my breath away, Time and time again, You break my heart in two, When you turn away, So tell me, How do I deal with the pain, Why do you act so vain, You're driving me insane, Lookin' back I see, The lies you concieved, Where love should have been, You devoured my heart, My tears turn to blood, Till there was nothing left of me, So tell me, How do I deal with the pain, Why do you act so vain, You're driving me insane, You gave me so much hell, Now I'm burnin' up inside, But I don't care anymore, Coz I'm losin' my mind, So tell me, How do I deal with the pain, Why do you act so vain, You're driving me insane,
