Story behind the song
When I was 9, my sister died and it's taken me a long time to realize that she is still alive. Her name is Amy, an anagram of May, or Maya--which, in Hindhu thought, along with the name of her own mother, Rita, who died before I was born, means "the illusion of reality." I think this is profound, or what ever, and it's taken me a long time to be able to express this through my art ... and actually because I have finally expressed it, I think this is the best song I've ever written.
