Deep, reflective, and thoughtful music. Searching for the deepest core of musical expression.
My name is Kenneth Edward Keyn. I am simply a musician. I strive to understand the deeper things that music has to offer. I am a composer of deep, rich, and expressive music. I am classically trained, but I explore a plethora of genres and styles. I specialize in orchestral, choral, and small ensemble work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. I am the primary co-composer on the iPhone game Trenches. I am a long standing member of OverClocked ReMix, where I am featured on multiple album releases and individual arrangements.

Story behind the song
This song was written as an entry for the Conceptual Music Competition (CMC 11). The story behind the song is as follows: "Following the wake of the king's death, the rightful heir to throne ascends to take his father's place. In the place of his father place, too ill to fight, he led his country to relative victory in a bloody and relentless war. Each battle is worn on his face. Weary, he reluctantly accepts the crown. His hope lies only in the possibility of rebuilding and restoring his people to glory and peace."
