Story behind the song
Felony Melodys is the fifth instrumental compilation released by Drunken Jesus. Their's no general theme or vibe to this project, its just a compilation of previously unfinished instrumentals Drunken Jesus made from 2005-2007. All instrumentals on this release are free to use for non-profit purposes. If you wish to use any of the tracks for a commercial release you must contact Drunken Jesus and purchase a non-exclusive license. (This is different & cheaper than an exclusive license, since this project is being released for free exclusive licenses can't be sold, you don't own the beat with a non-exclusive license but you can use it for profitable projects.) Prices for a non-exclusive lease range from $20-$200 depending on the beat, & if its a flat one time rate as opposed to a royalty agreement. Any DJ's who do blends are welcome to use instrumentals on this release for tracks they create as long as credit is given. Same goes for video producers who would like to use any instrumentals on this release for a soundtrack.
