Story behind the song
Too much pain and heartache!
Lyrics
“DIDN’T EVEN CRY” Words, melody and music by: Olivia Francis © 2007 BMI I used to fall apart when you’d say it was over My tears would drown the pounding of my heart I’d fall down on my knees and plead, forgiveness And say I’d die if we should ever part Oh! But this time, I didn’t…didn’t even cry CHORUS: I didn’t cry when you headed for the front door Didn’t cry when you said we were through I didn’t cry, not one single drop fell to the floor No! This time, I didn’t even cry BRIDGE: We have been through leaving in the past Oh! But this time, I didn’t want you back I guess I finally had enough of all the heartache And realized our love won’t ever work I gave up on believing in true romance And grew numb to feeling what used to hurt Oh! This time, I didn’t…didn’t even cry CHORUS
