Love And Deception
rock music canada folk celtic scottish irish calgary english welsh okotoks
Celtic Folk/Rock - high energy, foot-taping, dance inspiring, sing-along encouraging music.
We are four lads, England born Chris, as well as Jim, Derrek and Matt, who like to enjoy ourselves, and like to get everybody around us to have a fun time, but we also are very dedicated musicians. Although it may seem like Claymore is just about jumping around and not appearing serious, all four of us are committed to being the best at what each of us do.

Story behind the song
A man comes in, telling a story of woe, and seeking help, until the truth comes out
Lyrics
Ice Blue Eyes © Chris Greve December 13, 2006 As he came in at the end of the day His clothing specled with clay He sat at the bar and he called for a pint And tossed his jacket away He said sir I’ve been riding for many a night I’m cold as I can be I’m seeking the girl with the ice blue eyes She was taken from me It was on a night when the rains came down Came down for hours on end It was all I could do to survive Her honour I tried to defend Three strangers came to the door in the night Asking for shelter and keep But then turned the tables and took out their swords When we awoke from our sleep He finished his drink then turned his head quick To see the girl with the ice blue eyes Her clothes they were tattered she was covered in blood Her arms were limp by her sides She cried you took their money you offered me up Then quickly you did depart Then from under her tatters she took out a knife And forced it deep in his heart And as he fell to the floor in a heap Caught in his tales and lies He took his last breath after one long gaze At the girl with the ice blue eyes
