a song about the demise of my hometown
alternative pop bob dylan tom petty lou reed
three (or four) undernourished musicians with squinty eyes
I'd like to go on record as saying I really dig playing music and writing songs. I love being in a band whether it's my band or somebody else's band, doesn't matter...like it. I starting writing songs in high school, before I could even play guitar. I always had songs in my head buzzing around, still do. I hung around musicians and bands and desparately wanted to play in one, though I couldn't play anything. I started playing bass, it looked easy, only four strings, no chords. Eventually I got into guitar and bought a used acoustic which I still own and which is still my main squeeze, though I have owned or borrowed tons of guitars since. All my friends were musicians, though they were all at the end of their careers after high school when I was just getting going.
