Hopefully intelligent, upbeat, pop rock - plus multiple other genres and rabbit holes I enter
The band is ME - plus any collaborators I can convince to come along for the ride. I love the process of song writing and production - I hope some others get some enjoyments - or chuckles out of these tunes.

Lyrics
No Day of Rest Ron Tintner & Alan Gentle © 2007 I was born to struggle, bathed in blood and cries First day I saw the world they closed my mother's eyes My father brought me home and cried "son, we’re not so blessed While others take their ease, you'll have no day of rest” I grew up a farmer; I'd rise before the dawn Worked a hundred head of cattle, a thousand rows of corn I’d greet the morning stars then watch the sun set in the west ‘Cause beasts and grain and wind and rain, they take no day of rest Once I asked the preacher about the seventh day But he could give no answer why God made me this way So as the people walk past me in their Sunday best I turn my back and plough on their day of rest When I am too weak to rise up from my bed When every drop of sweat has rolled from off my head When all my life is spent and all my sins confessed Then I shall lay me down on my day of rest Let others dig my grave Six foot in the ground For I'll not wake or make a sound On my day of rest
