I am Paskal Tzellos, 22 year old DJ and producer of electronic dance music, namely House, Trance and Techno. I started DJing 5 years ago in London, when the club Peach was still at Camden Palace. That club, and its DJs such as Graham Gold or those amazing guest DJs such as Abel Ramos or Lee Foster were certainly my biggest influence in music and it was because of those special moments at Peach that I took up DJing and developed a passion, if not an addiction to Trance music. In the morning I used to go to afterhours clubs which played Funky House, so at the same time I fell in love with funky house. My biggest influence there were Fat Tony, the Sharp Boys and David Jimenez. Another big mention deserves the Frenchman Antoine Clamaran for his innovative style of mixing, and the Disco Boys (Germany) for the wicked, entertaining show they always deliver when playing somewhere. At the moment, musically I am moving in the Progressive House field, often combined with electroey and technoey sound. Not that I fell out with Funky House - I could never do that! It's just that I feel Progressive House has a lot more fresh and brilliant material coming out than in any other House genre. I feel very much at home in those tracks, as they combine the chunky, catchy beat of Funky House with euphoric and almost deep elements of Trance. It gives me a lot more room to experiment and enables me to build some Prog Trance, Techno and even Trance into my sets. My productions, none of which has been released yet, mirror exactly my taste of music, except Funky House which I find really hard to produce.
