Story behind the song
The song started off as as an improvised jam over the opening bass line that we did live a few times before developing it into a real song. Mark plays Bass on this one and the band is completed by Tony Leadley on Rythm Guitar and Mike Kewley on Drums. This version was recorded live at the Central in June 2000 during the T.T. festival.
Lyrics
Hey Brody, let's OD, I got a sister, she'll get fix for us Hey Brody, let's OD, I got a sister, she'll get a fix for us Hey sister, you're my fixer, You're my Charlotte Sometimes, get a hit for me Hey sister, you're my fixer, You're my Charlotte Sometimes, get a hit for me Do you remember when we were young, Just yesterday? We'd sit on the banks of the river and get stoned I used to score sometimes, You said you'd pay me back on Tuesday, But it is Tuesday I had a dream Bro, That you were fucking my sisters brains out, I know you wanted to, I think she liked you too, you know But now it's too late Goodbye Brody, googbye
