Story behind the song
A couple of years ago I went to a Cape May County Songwriters meeting at the request my co-worker friend Tom Leonik who was a member.
A beautiful setting and gazing out this huge picture window I could see Hereford Inlet Lighthouse in the distance. The arms of light were turning ever so slowly in the distance. Never having written a song before I thought to my self I could do that since there was so much creative energy flowing in the room. Also since Elvis Pressley First song was about his Mamma, I thought it might fit in this song. I also remembered I had a friend who was very sick with a burst appendix and his mamma was very worried.
