Story behind the song

I did this song with the permission of the artist, and composer, Ken Bloom. This is my tribute to Ken for his dedication to the bowed dulcimer. Ken wrote this song in honor of his grandfather who was from Lithuania. I did this song in one take with each instrument with no clue as to what I was going to play with each, other than the original melody on bowed dulcimer. It was a very unusual experience that I won't soon forget.
