I'm Mark Christopher Frimmel, Born Fort Worth, Texas, 1957. I started recording 9 months ago as of 3/07. Now I write a couple songs a month, and I'm waiting for one of my songs to make it, hopefully. I want to write music that makes a difference. My father always said "If you could just write one song along the lines of "White Christmas", a true legendary Christmas song, you could make it in the music industry." So last December, I gave it a try. My song "It's All About The Love (It's Christmas), is probably one of my best works, along with my new song "How You Feelin' Now", a song about personal struggles and the War in Iraq. My main focus in my music are vibrant 3 part harmonies and versatile style of composition. I do wish everybody well and I hope you like my music. Lyrics
Take It Back Mark Christopher 11/17/07 written/recorded 1) It's so hard to make it in this world today When the man gives it all away Just stay on your side, I'll stay on mine And noone here wants to draw the line 2) Politicians are a disgrace to it all They don't care if we stand or fall They better stop before they push us too far And make us have to take it back -break- Take it back, take it back Please don't make us have to take it back Because Jefferson didn't want you to do that No, Washington didn't want you to do that And we will take it back 3) They find it offensive when we pray and display And if we let them, it'll all go away With so many weapons in the world And here we sit now, vulnerable -break- You tell us you'll build it, but it never gets done You only think your day in the sun Because Jefferson didn't want you to do that No, Washington didn't want you to do that And we will take it back -solo- -break- If you could be honest, beyond reproach Absolute power corrupts absolutely Because Jefferson didn't want you to do that No, Washington didn't want you to do that And we will take it back
