Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years since I've been able to press a single key or hold an instrument I've always been intrigued and would always want to learn... keyboards, recorder, clarinet, xylophone (hehe), the guitar... I admit I don't excel at any of these instruments but who said there was anything wrong with knowing a little about a lot? :)

Story behind the song
I met a friend online named Tom years ago and he was a composer (electronic/digital music type) and he asked me if I had any lyrics he could add music to. I told him that I didn't, but I did have a poem that he could use if he wanted to make up a vocal melody as well. I cannot find the music he had composed but I still remember the melody. I came across this lyric/poem again today and decided to do a quick recording.
