The idea for this song started in 2002. My girlfriend wanted me to write her something that she could dance to and different from what I normally do. So I picked a samba beat and played till I found chords I liked. It was just a drum loop from my D1600, 2 chords and the simple melody in the beginning. I let it sit for a while, and every once in a while I would try recording ideas that would come to mind. It wasn't until much later, in December 2004, that inspiration and direction finally hit, and I managed to finish writing and recording the rest of the song. I guess some days it will just come out when you least expect it or at inappropriate times, and others..., you're wishing for a musical laxative ‘cause you're so blocked up it hurts. - Juni Devecais
