Story behind the song
In 1833 Andrew Jackson was our seventh president. He was one tough guy and so they nicknamed him, "Old Hickory." Jackson earlier had driven the spanish out of the Florida peninsula. Without him, Florida would not now be part of the United States.

Keep up the good work! Neato Burrito! Alley Oop & Loop-T-Loops. Your town not only has you in it, it has my name. I for one find this, well, absolute coincidence, much as the 1833 coin that looks like me. So does Lady Liberty for that matter. I don't recall hangin about with any frenchman in the late 1800s, but it was a while ago, and I've gone and come back many times since then. Are you confused yet? Welcome to my world! God Bless, Much Love, ~L
