A new rap group from Hattiesburg, Mississippi is emerging on the scene complete with all of the essential elements required in making them a sure â“ fire success. The name of the group is âœLocsta Boyz,â which includes Garry Loc, Yung Treal, Da Kidd, and Lil Chris. These four young men started getting into music around the year 2000, at that time they were making their music out of a closet of Chris Reedâs home; it was all for the love and interest of making music. They first acknowledged their own ability after their first hit song âœIâm Leaninâ. Due to the influence of others the Locsta Boyz decided to enter their song into a radio contest; winning by a land slide. First place allowed the group to receive regular rotation on the radio. They went on to record more songs that was getting major props in and around Hattiesburg which ended in their first album, titled âœTill Death Do Us Partâ in 2005, followed by âœTraining Campâ in 2007.
