Story behind the song
I was pastoring a small church in Lacon IL. I witnessed to alot of high school kids that summer. I worked part time at the local high school. When school started one day during a class change; one of the girls I had witnessed to yelled out "theres the gospelman" That was a cut for her, but if my life could be known for one thing let it be this I live to give the gospel away.
