What do we really learn in this world?

I play since 13, began on acoustic guitar, learning from records. My band was in Brussels, called SCANDALE. But, as i moved from there, i continued to participate in projects with JEAN FRANÇOIS MOULIN, key's player. We work throught the internet, and it works pretty well. I'm currently posting my own music. Thank's for hearing, hope you like!

Story behind the song
My wife said that i never composed a song for her. That was my answer...
Lyrics
When i was a young boy I thought i had all the time of my life To feel the sun upon my shoulders The birds and the trees where friends i could always, always rely on They told me to stay away, don't grow Now i understand What i've really learned in all that world, so cold Now i am an old boy The time's getting short I must run real fast Prepare myself to come back home But when i look deep inside your green and shiny eyes The fear, the pain, the tears are gone Now i understand What i've really learned in all that world, so warm I woke up this morning And you're still sleeping by my side Now i know i have the time i want

Nice song you've written for your wife. :) Like the guitar work, and the double-tracking, high and low of your vocals, Robert. :) There is much emotion in this piece. :)
