Straight ahead, riff based Rock and Roll - tip of the hat to Led Zeppelin
batw
All original rock and roll, in many different flavors and textures....
A year has now passed since we chose to experiment with marketing our music through channels such as iTunes, Napster, Amazon and others. As this experiment has convinced us that keeping our day jobs was indeed a very wise idea, that album will no longer be available after April 24, 2009. It's for that reason that we've re-enabled downloads for all our music on here - if you like what we've done, feel free to download it and add it to your collections.

Story behind the song
This song was written shortly after the Led Zeppelin reunion in December '07 at London's O2 arena. The very first view I had of the show was a You Tube upload of the evening news on the BBC, which showed a little of Black Dog. This song is not a cover, nor a rip - this song, from the start, was written as an homage to Zeppelin and their influence on me for so many years. Hope you enjoy it!
Lyrics
I'm singing my song In the pouring rain No time for tears All done with pain Got me a woman And it won't take long Put her hand in mine As we travel along Making my way To a brand new start With this pretty little woman Who won my heart (Chorus) Does it get Any better than this And it all started with a kiss I sit back And remember the day This pretty little woman Came my way Did not know What was gonna start When she looked across the room And won my heart Don't have much I'm a working man But somewhere out there It was in the plan (repeat Chorus) Tell you baby I'll be good to you I'll do all the things That you want me to Lead me on down To the promised land You make me feel glad I was born a man Sweet little baby Come walk this way As I look at you Can't keep away (repeat Chorus) Tell me straight No need to lie Something ain't right Shouldn't be a surprise The road ahead Won't always be As smooth a ride As we'd like to see Stay with me Through day and night And you will see We'll be all right (repeat Chorus - out to end)
