21st Century Worship is the name I use for pretty much all my worship music endeavors. The band is not so much a band yet - it's me. And I have some people who play with me, for the most part my worship team at the church where I lead worship. 21st Century Worship is about taking the timeless truth of the glory of God and worship of Him and bringing it into a place that fits today's world - while not giving up anything of the music's timelessness and truth.

Story behind the song
Back in the early 90's I was working a lot with the youth pastor at the small Assembly of god church I attended in Elk Grove, CA. When he was given the opportunity to preach to the whole congregation one Sunday, he asked me to come up with a song for the special music that would link thematically to his sermon. This is the song that resulted from that request. We performed the song as a special one Sunday at my church where I lead worship now. The recording is a bit rough, but here it is for your listening pleasure.
