Story behind the song
I just happen to have a friend who is actually like this. I call him Tin Man. He's so wrapped in paying bills that I told him one day he's going to wake up and he'll be an old man all alone. I always complain to him about it so he told me to "write a song" so I took him literally and here you have it!!!
Lyrics
You’re a selfish individual Something quite unusual Blood na run thru your vein Heart like wood, no feeling All your about is making money You na take the time to spend with me No matter what I say or do Money is the only thing that moves you Chorus Tin man, no heart Wood man, your knife sharp Piercing me Hurting me Annoying me Angering me Tin man, no heart Wood man, your knife sharp Emotion don’t run thru your body De only thing you love is making money Verse 2 When me call to talk to you You’re always in a bad mood Complaining about needing more money Instead of taking time to talk to me Mi say baby you can’t take it with you You have to make time for people who care about you But all he says he has to make money When emergency come whose going to take care of me Bridge Baby you so cold as ice One day i go cost a big price I hope it’s well worth the sacrifice You gonna end up alone, so you better think twice Di money won’t help you then You won’t have a single friend I guess money, gonna keep you company You gonna wind up lonely
