Formed in 2003, The Separation are one of the most exciting bands on the London live scene. The young five-piece present a furious marriage of progressive post-hardcore to pop-laden hooks. Think Coheed & Cambria with the swagger of The Bronx. Their songs are explosive bursts of edgy vocals, jagged rhythms and maverick riffage that borders on the heroic. The band have already established a dedicated internet following and thrive on a back to basics DIY ethic. No doubt they'll bring their intense live show to a town near you soon! The Separation have recently released their debut album "Retire Your Engines". Recorded and mixed at the Outhouse Studios, Reading (Enter Shikari, Funeral For A Friend, Architects). Mastered by Turan Audio, Oxford (Anti-Nowhere League, The Hurt Process, Emperor). Artwork by Adam Wentworth (Coheed and Cambria, Van Halen)
