I've always loved artists like Giorgio Moroder, Prince.. i was making my "Startime" album, and really wanted something that sounded like it was recorded in 1981 or something.. the sort of song that you hear in shitty films, where campy instrumentals play while there's a car chase, or whatever.. and here's "Lovebeat".. i really love how it came out, and it took a week to record.. a zillion overdubs
