A Parable of Trust, Betrayal and Karmic Justice
MPD ONE MAN BAND
Ano Nimo is a composer/songwriter and currently a one man band. Ano has been involved in many activities over the last half century (sounds old but doesn't feel old), some musical, some not. Having associated in the 70s with other musicians immersed in folk/classical/rock, including the short-lived baroque-rock group, Providence and their mentors and label mates, the Moody Blues, Nimo thereby nurtured his penchant for blending esoteric musical genres.

Story behind the song
I had no choice; it's almost like this song found me.
Lyrics
El Jiva and Don Juan, they met on that faithful day. Don Juan, he said, "El Jiva, please show me how to play." El Jiva answered, "Sure, no problem, if you want to play like me, Just do this and that for ten days Juan and everyone will see." Then Also interjected, "I know the stretch and jive. For a little more dinero, I'll gladly show your wife." This sounded like a package deal, so Don Juan, he went along, And for some time both felt they knew that nothing could go wrong. But El Jiva, he got thinkin' he'd found a new prospect. It's not every day or so they say, that you find some easy jack. And there's more to livin' under the sun than just dancin' to a tune. El Jiva just didn't dream that Don Juan would see that soon. Then Also ran with Jesusa to the land of the midday sleep. "Juan", she said, "you may not believe but El Jiva is a thief." Don Juan began to ponder this and his head began to swim. He drown'd his faith in disbelief not knowin' where to begin. Then helpful Jesusa exclaimed, "I've had enough of his scam. Don Juan, you've got to fight it or you'll have no place to land. You're not the first, you know, nor will you be the last; it's true. And if you fail to put El Jiva down, it will all come back on you." Well, El Jiva mended Also with rhythm, rhyme and skin. With things made right between them, between them there was no sin. No graven image could desecrate the deed that had been done. And Don Juan began to see, sin ton ni son, that Also y El Jiva had won. And if you think things could get no worse, you'd better think again. 'Cause it was time in this rhyme for Jesusa to stake her claim. So to the abagado Don Juan with Jesusa did go. La ley y el orden did not prevail and Don Juan, he found it so. The say every day's a new day and no good deed goes unsung. Greed may possess the moment, but honour holds the sun. El Jiva goes on livin' in a world in which he has no home. While Don Juan can see what will be will be and will never be alone.
