Story behind the song
The 'Gloss' series of instrumentals were recorded at Emma's house in the Mumbles during 2001 or 2002. Although her piano wasn't nearly as good (or in tune) as Simon's at Down Leaze, the house had a totally open plan ground floor with wonderful wood tile floors which meant the piano sounded pretty good recorded.
