And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the back part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awoke him, and said to him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? Mark 4:37-38

My thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways my ways says the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than yours. Isa: 55:9
"Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are towards us: they cannot be counted up in order to you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." Psalms:40:5 This is what my music is all about.

Story behind the song
This song kept popping into my head for several weeks while I was driving to work and would not stop until I finally picked up my guitar found the chords and wrote it down.
Lyrics
What Manner Of Man Is This? On a clear and sunny day they set sail cross the Galilee, fair winds did prevail With a pillow Jesus laid down for a rest knowing that his men he soon would test For a storm arose and struck on every side Master save us! Dont you care for us? they cried They were fearful and their faith was lost until He rebuked the wind and waves with Peace, be still What manner of man is this? Whom even the winds and the waters obey? When youre staring at deaths abyss With your faith you can break through and sail away! When they reached the other side and came ashore they met a violent man like none theyd seen before Bound by spirits, wandering naked through the tombs lost and hopeless all who saw him would assume Jesus, Son of God, whatve we to do with you? The demons from within their host spoke through Please dont punish, send us to the herd of swine. So He bid them go and proved Himself divine What manner of man is this? Whom even the spirits of darkness obey? Heres something we dare not miss His mere presence made the evil run away! Now in Bethany when Lazarus had died both his sisters greeted Jesus as they cried Lord if only you had been here they said then our brother whom we loved would not be dead He was touched with deep emotion by their grief and troubled that so many lacked belief So to prove to them that He alone could save He cried "Lazarus!" and he came forth from his grave! What manner of man is this? Whom even the power of death does obey? Betrayed by a close friends kiss He was crucified yet rose on the third day! He was there at the creation of man it was His design and great majestic plan To divide the seas and separate the land every living creature sprang forth from His hand Such an awesome power clothed with loves restraint, mighty artist with a masterpiece to paint With such variety it overwhelms the mind! Yet, He made it all and gave it to mankind! What manner of man is this? Whom even the stars and the planets obey? And everything that exists He called it forth from nothing in six days!
