Story behind the song
I find that I have a personality alot like Peter in the Bible - I'm so passionate that I'm a little impusive and let my mouth get ahead of me!. Sometimes I get so excited about what God is doing that and jump into something even before I'm really spiritully mature to handle it. Peter started walking on the water in the middle of a storm, but then realized where he was and lost faith in himself. He lost sight that he wasn't doing the impossible in his own strength, but at the word of God - the simple word, COME. But even though he got his eyes off Jesus and started sinking, He still trusted Jesus enough to cry out for help. Peter was just as quick to repent as he was to mess-up. He was also not to big to cry - Save me!
