Story behind the song
I wanted to write a worship song that invited participants to lift their hands as well as their voices. Some feel uncomfortable lifting hands in corporate woship while others have no inhibitions at all. It really doesn't matter as long as your heart's right. But, I think God is pleased with the gesture of adoration.
