Another classic Nerds While AZN collab! An awesome way to close out the album in style...me, DMK, and Jam Master Jun spitting that fire. Sweet production on this track, with new-age style horns and claps, all courtesy of Sean Divine Productions.

Name: Jeremy Blum Nicknames: Blummer, JB, JAB, Shoryu Crew: Nerds While AZN Nationality: Half White, Half Asian (you figure out the exact mix) Biggest Musical Influences - Mike Shinoda, Tiger JK (of Drunken Tiger), Tablo (of Epik High) I started rapping in 2003 years ago, mainly because I really loved hip-hop and wanted to try creating my own musical works. I quickly found out that I had a knack for it, and I also discovered that I loved making music and sharing it with the world. I originally began rapping with my crew, Nerds While AZN (if you haven't already, you should check our group site out @ soundclick.com/nerdswhileazn) but since then I've mostly done solo work and have finished three mixtapes on my own. I hope you'll enjoy my music, find something that you think sounds tight, and come away with a few favorites. Thanks.

Lyrics
Blummer feat. DMK & Jam Master Jun - Writin' Rhymes (chorus) i write rhymes in the studio, make tracks that face the problems of today, tomorrow, none of it goes to waste i pour emotion through my pen, follow these words my team backing me up, these are the raps of the Nerds i write rhymes in my head, composing my style you should slow down and listen, sit with me for a while feel the sonic vibes echoed through my song all the people on this Earth, ya'll can now sing along (Blummer) the definition of a rhyme, just what does it mean a syllabic similarity in a sweet sixteen? basically yes, but it's so much more put in a melody, these words appeal to the rich, the poor cross boundaries, rivers, the globe with a song from the shores of Montezuma to the skies of Hong Kong there's just something about how the words connect in a musical construction, a poetry-laced set to affect, to project, to inspect and reflect direct and perfect, that's what you can expect objectively, my rhymes are a product of these times sublime on the grind, poetry in its prime like Moses, these etchings are my commandments hip-hop gets hate, masses can't stand this but i'll sail through these waters, sail through this storm and transform bad to good with lyrical art form (chorus) (DMK) it starts with a word (it starts with a word) transforms to a verse (transforms to a verse) it starts with a word (it starts with a word) transforms to a verse (transforms to a verse) i start with poverty, you say snobbery together we conclude it's outright robbery could be a felony, instead it's a travesty put it to a melody, cut, edit, there's a theme add 2 nerds, now we got harmony but add too much, and the music starts to bleed so we cut back, i say poverty's on me you build on that, let's talk about greed two themes, running free moving parallel to a musical beat just recall, it's only one word transforming a nerd to a voice well heard (chorus) (Jam Master Jun) it's just words, man, it's just words words that he wants to backup with works but works are hard, and words are easy and words travel quickly on these MP3s but he's got some skill, and he sounds all right he won't admit it, but these rhymes of his do take all night but don't think, therefore, he's got mystique he just look like that cuz he's getting no sleep can't you tell the reason that he rhymes with joy is the fact that he likes to hear the sound of his voice? maybe he's crazy, his mind is hazy he can't even tell what's real from his daydreams but now and then, he goes back and yeah and remembers how the Nerds used to rap and yeah he rolls his eyes, yeah, but he picks up the pen he knows that the time to rhyme has come again (chorus) i write rhymes every day pouring my soul every way through my mind and my heart my style and my thoughts i do this the only way to show what i say i write rhymes every day pouring my soul every way through my mind and my heart my style and my thoughts i do this the only way to show what i say (chorus)
