I've loved this song sing I was 4 years old and my father used to sing it around the house. I have recorded it purely for my father, who has inspired me in regards to music.
This song outlines the mind frame of the man/woman who feels that their life is so insecure that for anyone else to come into contact with them would just be dangerous to the opposing individual. Adressed in the story of this piece of literature is how things are made worse simply by viewing them in the wrong frame of mind. I love the message this song puts out because it goes to say that if you cannot help yourself, throw caution into the wind and let someone else help you. I feel that this is a very valuable lesson.
