HISTORY Soul Mystic was born and raised in the Bay Area, went to school in New York, worked in Congress, and spent time as an entrepreneur in San Diego. He spent his four years in New York working with a phenomenal group of musicians called Poetic Alchemy, producing 3 independent EPs in 4 years, opening for Method Man and Redman, and winning Battle of the Bands against 30 other acts from all genres of music. In San Diego he joined forces with more enlightened heads together a in a new group called Def Poets Society whom he is still working with. Their biggest show was opening for international sensation Zap Mama in August 2007. He is currently back in the Bay Area working on his solo album.
