Artist picture
Lake Fork Verne and his banjo. Original country and Americana songs. Songs of yesteryear, growing up during the great depression 1930's and the way things are
Just me and my banjo...writing and singing about how things used to be long ago in the 30;s and 40's and how those experiences affect today. I started out wanting to get on record these stories and songs for my grandchildren; but after doing it for a while, others have expresses interest so we are recording and putting them out there.

Hello Mr V.G., I just listened to 'That Natural Air' and I particulary like the lyrics in this one. I can picture the small boy in his cover-alls on a hot summer day with all the windows and doors open for that country breeze. You have created a wonderful diary of your life through song. Have a safe and wonderful Memorial Weekend my friend! Rosie
