aurex makes electronic music, mainly electro-house. Expressive rhythms, catchy melodies and a good vibe are very important, but the main goal is to compose 'music that moves you'. Some influences are: Booka Shade, Trentemøller, Ellen Allien and Apparat, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier, Underworld, Biosphere ... and many, many more. aurex is also a live act based on the sequencing of electronic music. aurex uses only hardware equipment when playing live. No laptop, but drummachines, synthesizers, filters, samplers and sequencers instead. This leaves plenty of room for improvisation, and because of that no aurex Set sounds the same. aurex brings you an uplifting live set, with influences of electro-house, and minimal techno.
