Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
Troubles and trials have shaped my life; an emotional fire I've walked through, that burned different things out of me, changed me, and contributed to the person I've become in the present time. At NO time would I ever say I was perfect; I make plenty of mistakes each and every day. But, for and with the grace of God, go I....Touched by the Fire, not once by TWICE. The song speaks true..I have inquired of the Lord before when I was facing something, and had Him help me to understand that it was necessary..and it was a test of some sort, even though it was hard. To serve and obey was necessary..putting Him first NO MATTER WHAT I was going through..He'd be there for me and with me..that was a promise I always had. But it hinged on my obedience to Him, nothing else. To get through, I had to walk through the fires of Hell and brimstone to get to where I was going...and, of course, I got burned along the way....always facing the possibility of losing all to gain something better..it is the way of the trials of life and the fire. I will say this: if you're unwilling or unable to learn the lesson the first time..you WILL face the fire once again; another time, another place. Take it from someone who knows..she's been there, done that. :)

HI Tammy, Its good to be back here listening to your wonderful music. I hope life finds you in good health. This is a beautiful song and as always very well sung and arranged. Life is good in sunny old England, well, except for today as its raining but thats what we love about our weather, you never know what your going to get. Tammy, This is a GEM of a song. I like when artists write from their own experiences and bring them into song. That is true authenticity for an artist! I also like your vocal harmonies in this song. Well done! A definite 5 stars!

Awe-inspiring! Sung with power, beauty, and conviction. Written with passion and an intimate knowledge of life's twists and turns. Epic chorus. Tammy, this is one of those SUPER SPECIAL songs to cherish always! On a 4th listen. To say I love it would be an understatement!

This is a tremendous track that flows with conviction and a majestic and stately pace. Your lyrics read like a psalm; your harmonies are pure and strong. Your voice sounds especially pure where you double track it. The 3/4 time signature gives it a sweetness and gentleness to soften the titanic gravity of the subject matter. The unobtrusive arrangment builds gradually and crescendos nicely at the pause before the outro. Excellent work on the keys! Strong chorus bouys up the entire track and sends the listener the summary of the lyric: God is sovereign and our trials are always for our own good even when appearances suggest otherwise. 5 stars and well-deserved.
