Story behind the song
This is about the outsourcing of North American Jobs, and the blinders our leaders have about this. I think we are being led down the graden path on this one. We not only see this in inferior products but products that come to the United and States and Canada that are not only at time inferior but have severe health consequences on the people and sometimes children that use those products. More improtantly how does such outsourcing affect us all?
Lyrics
These are the chorus lines basically : I am sold and going to China Would you like to come along with me? I am sold and going to China To work in their factories.

Great political humor and satire style! Reminds me of the '60's protest music with a modern and tame hint. Really cool Harp work!!

Funny song, except the truth is, it isn't so much funny as true. Excellent lyrics on another important topic. Well done!

Hi Roger, Well we certainly agree on this subject. LOL! How appropriate for the times. I have been talking about this for many years since IT Jobs have been going to India for many years. Really like the melody. You have a way of crafting these folkies and they are contemporary. Nice work again. CHINA BYTES!

After taking a look around your page and songs I see we are both of the same spirit I agree with everything you write about 100% nice to hear folk rock that is still speaking, as it did in the 60's your sound and lyrics are bringing truth back in a music way, that is my platform to amen bro agree.

I like the lyrics, this song really sums up what a mixed up, misguided world we live it. The track works on 2 levels for me...yes it's funny, but it also has a bitter edge which I think is excellent.
