We are Tim and Marilyn Lamberson owners of "State of the Heart Music". We formed the musical project "INSITU" in 1999 and have worked together since to write, record and produce our original music at Makin' Tracks, our home studio. We both come from different musical backgrounds ranging from Bluegrass to Hard Rock, but share in common inspiring messages in our music. Story behind the song
I wrote the music & lyrics to this song one day when I was literally snowed in at home in Oregon. There were piles of snow, freezing rain, the whole bit. At that same time in my life, I felt stranded from loved ones which lent emotion to the song.
