I took amateur composition since I was 14, now I'm 30 and with a lot of experience. I never became professional, but still I wrote a soundtrack for an international distributed horror movie. I hope to make descriptive music, to tell emotions and paint images of what I would describe. I was in jazz and wind band music too, now I have too many business to play again in bands...

Story behind the song
My grandfather was a prisoner of war in germany from 8th september 1943 to 12th April 1945. I collected some info and photos to tell his story, but I was impressed so much to write a score about him and all who suffered from war. The three movements tell "The memory of them", "The struggle of war", "The coming back home".

peace Silvio, beautiful work and expression of a dark period for many, who hopefully will not be forgotten. your song does an excellent job, allowing for a place of meditations, to those who can still glimpse into that day and hope it will not return, but..... we humans seem to repeat ... i also did a colab with Morten Malvik on a Psalm, that might had been sung in some of the camps. Psalm 88_JPs_Prayerful Reflection, the Holocaust & get a chance, chk it out... keep up the good music. the 5 stars in lyrics was for subject matter, remember Dimenticati eroi (Forgotten heroes) bBlsd bWl peaceRrock

Dear Irvius, I just now saw your comment on my page. Thanks for listening to my music, and for inviting me to listen to yours -- such sensitive, evocative music! Just beautiful and skillfully orchestrated! Although I came to classical composition rather late in life, I have been writing music since a young age. Your music is very inspiring to me, and I have added you to my favorite artists. Please do keep in touch! -- Karen Peace
