Story behind the song

Once upon a time, two guitarists and a drummer banged their heads against a wall for several years trying to get a band going. I was one of the guitarists. The other was Carlos Santana and the drummer was Tommy Lee.* This is a 4-track recording from one of their many rehearsal sessions.
