Story behind the song
Be Still was written in my office at Hope Center covenant church in Pleasant Hill, CA in 1989 or 90. We sang it as a simple worship Chorus during my years as Worship Pastor at Westside Church in Bend, OR. I finally got around to recording this demo. At some point I'd like to add a small choir to the final verse.
