Story behind the song
Written for a friend named "Dorothy".. the name translates as "gift"..
Lyrics
She’s a Celtic princess like from times of lore She’s a siren upon a Gaelic shore Luan aleen rides above the clouds As she walks thru the moor in a shroud My Scottish gift of the lowland ways She’s a woman child of the latter days She sings to the stars and the birds all around Has she sought what she has found? She has mystic eyes and a suasive smile She plays her flute with minstrels for a while Leeda the leprechaun comes to cast a spell Looking for youth inside the wishing well Are her answers somewhere in the songs Like the seanchie to sing along She can touch a heart in a bonny dream Where the fantasy is what reality seems
